University of South Florida

The University of South Florida in Tampa offers an MBA with an area of study in healthcare management. The program totals 33 credits and can be completed in as little as 18 months, but most students take 2 to 3 years to finish. The program has a unique practicum option where students can complete a real-world project at their place of employment as a part of their electives. Students in the healthcare management area of study can choose from courses in health care law, healthcare information systems, health care marketing, and more.

Florida Atlantic University

Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton has a Flexible MBA program that has a specialization in health administration, as well as a Certificate in Health Administration. Students in the Flexible MBA program must complete 43 to 55 credits, based on their undergraduate coursework. If students have an undergraduate degree in business, then 12 credits of the 31 to 43 credits of core MBA coursework can be waived. Students in the health administration specialization complete 12 credits of electives in the specialization.

South University

South University in Tampa provides a unique hybrid MBA in Healthcare Administration program. Students alternate 1 week in the classroom and 1 week with online courses throughout the program. The program totals 48 credits and includes a course devoted entirely to case studies specifically in healthcare administration for hands-on training. Other course topics include quality performance, ethics, healthcare structure, healthcare policy, and decision making.

Lynn University

Lynn University in Boca Raton has an MBA in Healthcare Management that is available on-campus and online. Each format totals 37 credits and includes 9 credits of healthcare management courses and 9 credits of free electives. Online students can choose to participate in independent study, study abroad, or an internship opportunity for hands-on learning. University of Miami

The University of Miami in Coral Gables offers a unique Executive MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy program. Students can complete the program in 2 years, and the program requires about 48 credits.
