Indiana Institute of Technology (Indiana Tech) in Fort Wayne offers an online MBA in Health Care Management. The program totals 36 credits and prepares students to lead teams and organizations in the field of health care. Students begin the program with a course in Executive Management and then take core MBA courses and 18 credits of courses in the healthcare management concentration. Concentration courses cover topics such as health care law, health care ethics, health care finance, quality management, and project management.

Western Governors University- Indiana

Western Governors University-Indiana has an online MBA in Healthcare Management that most students complete in 11 to 24 months, per the school's website. The program requires 11 courses and includes a capstone project. The capstone project requires students to work in teams and simulate the management of a health care organization for hands-on experience. Other courses discuss topics in leadership, healthcare management, finance, strategy, and economics.

University of Southern Indiana

The University of Southern Indiana in Evansville also offers an online MBA in Healthcare Administration. The program requires 30 credits and can be completed in as little as 11 months. Indiana Wesleyan University

Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion provides an MBA in Healthcare Administration that can be completed in 18 to 24 months. The program follows a cohort model and meets one evening a week for classes on-campus or is available online. Students must complete 42 credits and a capstone course in healthcare administration. Courses are typically taken one at a time and include subjects in issues in healthcare, statistics, healthcare technology, healthcare governance, and more.

Common Entrance Requirements

Most, if not all, MBA in Healthcare Management degree programs in Indiana require applicants to have a bachelor's degree and many of these programs also have a minimum GPA requirement, typically at least a 2.5. Most of these programs also require the GMAT or GRE test scores, but some programs may not require the exams or may waive them if students meet specific criteria, such as a high GPA combined with so many years of work experience. Some programs may admit students on probationary status if they fail to meet some of these criteria, such as the minimum GPA. Some programs may also expect students to have a specific number of years of work experience in business or a related field.
