University of Memphis

The University of Memphis offers five MBA program options to suit a wide variety of students with different needs. The part-time program entails evening courses during weekdays while the online program has no in-person residency requirement. Students who enroll in the part-time program have the option of pursuing a concentration in an area like financial services, healthcare, or pharmacy practice.

Christian Brothers University

Christian Brothers University offers two types of MBA programs - a Cohort MBA program and a Healthcare Management MBA program. The cohort program is designed for students how are working full-time. Students who enroll in this program will do so either in March or October along with 15 to 20 other students. This group of students will move through the program together and complete all the requirements within 27 months. Requirements include eight core courses and three elective courses, which students can select according to a concentration area. These areas are project management, marketing, and finance, among others.

The MBA program in Healthcare Management requires students to complete 35 credits which are split over 12 required courses. Students who enroll in this program are typically already working in the healthcare field or are interested in making a career change to healthcare. Some topics that will be covered in the required coursework include epidemiology, healthcare managerial economics, and public health policy.

Belhaven University

Another option for students seeking MBA programs in Memphis is the MBA program at Belhaven University. Because this program's structure entails just meeting one night per week, students can complete the required 36 hours of curriculum while working. Students typically finish the degree in three continuous terms, roughly one year. This program also offers students the opportunity to pursue a concentration in one of six areas by taking some additional credits. These options are sports administration, finance, leadership, human resources, public administration, or health administration. Students who opt to complete a concentration will complete all of the core courses on campus while completing the courses for their concentration online.
