Upon their return, students complete another series of courses and then choose an area of focus: finance, marketing, or hospitality revenue management. Students can complete the program in about a year.

South Carolina MBA Program Admissions Information

Applicants to South Carolina MBA programs should be prepared to submit transcripts showing earned undergraduate degrees. Although a major in business is usually not required, some programs prefer a GPA of at least 3.0. Prospective students should also take the GMAT; some schools accept GRE scores as well. Since MBA programs often prefer students with prior professional experience, application packets usually include an applicant's resume, and additional application components may include letters of recommendation and a personal statement outlining the applicant's academic goals and qualifications. Business schools may also request an interview as part of the admissions process.

Individuals interested in pursuing an MBA have several program options to choose from in South Carolina. Qualified applicants can expect flexible program structures and a series of courses in management, marketing, finance, and related subjects.
