Allen University

Allen University is a Historically Black University that had 590 undergraduate students in 2017, according to the NCES. Students at the university can pursue a Master of Divinity or undergraduate majors in subjects such as environmental biology, real estate, professional writing, piano, mathematics and religious studies. In order to enrich students' spiritual lives, the university incorporates practices and beliefs of the African Methodist Episcopal Church into the liberal arts curriculum and offers spiritual groups, like Voices of Praise. Other extracurricular activities and organizations on campus include Greek life, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), honor societies and International Association.

Claflin University

Claflin University is another Historically Black University and had close to 2,040 undergraduate students in 2017, per the NCES. The school is home to the James and Dorothy Z. Elmore Chapel and helps students grow spiritually through various spiritual activities and groups on campus, such as Religious Emphasis Week, Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity and Sisters of Service. Students may also join different clubs and organizations on campus, like Pre-Dentistry Club, Art Club, honor societies, Greek life, Friends of the Earth and Yearbook. The university offers undergraduate degree programs in various subjects, including bioinformatics, digital design, sport management and computer engineering, as well as master's programs in biotechnology, criminal justice, education and business administration.

Columbia College

Columbia College is an all-women's institution that had 1,380 undergraduate students in 2017, according to the NCES. Students on campus can pursue their personal interests by joining clubs and organizations on campus, such as Pre-Law Majors Club, Honors Student Association, Columbia College Dance Company and Math and Computing Society. The school has a wide range of undergraduate programs, like global business, social work, speech-language pathology and special education, and several different graduate degree programs, such as athletic coaching, organizational leadership and higher education administration. For their spiritual lives, there are several different campus ministries available to help students grow through spiritual activities and Bible study, including Kingdom Glory College Ministries and Shandon College Ministry, as well as other spiritual groups, like Campus Crusade for Christ and Heavenly Creations Gospel Choir.

Wofford College

According to the NCES, Wofford College is an undergraduate institution that had close to 1,680 students in 2017. Students can pursue study in subjects like intercultural studies, physics, Spanish, art history, environmental studies, government and business economics. The college helps students further develop their spiritual lives through a wide range of religious and service organizations, including Interfaith Youth Core, Souljahs for Christ, Students Helping Honduras and Arcadia Volunteer Corps. Students can also participate in various special interests groups on campus, such as Greek life, Wofford Outdoors Club, Equestrian Club, Chess Club and Cooking Club.
