Texas College

Texas College is an undergraduate institution that had around 990 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 25 to 1 in 2017, per the NCES. This Historically Black College offers a dozen majors, including those in social work, biology, criminal justice, music, mathematics and religion. Spiritual growth opportunities on campus are overseen by the Office of Student Affairs, and students can grow spiritually through worship services, College Assembly, Bible studies and campus ministry activities. Students may also choose to participate in other activities on campus, like Greek life, band, choir and athletics.

Paul Quinn College

Paul Quinn College is another Historically Black College that has 11 different majors in areas like business administration, legal studies, computer science, health and wellness, religious studies and biology. The college encourages spiritual growth in its students through College Assembly, weekly worship services, Bible studies and Religious Emphasis Week. The school also offers a variety of student activities for students to participate in, including athletics, community service opportunities, homecoming week, Honor's Convocation and Founder's Day. As of 2017, the undergraduate college had about 520 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 25 to 1, per the NCES.

Southern Methodist University

Students at Southern Methodist University can invest in their spiritual lives through university worship services, residence community chaplains and religious life groups, like Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Graduate Christian Fellowship. The university also has over 300 student organizations and groups on campus, including Greek life, Career Development Ambassadors, Boulevard Baking, Chemistry Society and Chinese Student Association. In 2017, the university had around 6,450 undergraduate students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 11 to 1. The school offers an array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in fields such as civil engineering, art history, data science, anthropology, economics, fashion media and journalism.

McMurry University

McMurry University had close to 1,110 undergraduate students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 11 to 1 in 2017, per the NCES. The university has a master's degree program in nursing and a wide range of undergraduate majors, including biomedical science, Christian ministry, environmental science, theatre education, information technology and physics. Spiritual life on campus consists of weekly chapel services, prayer chapel, fellowship lunches and religious groups, like FCA and Campus Ministry. Students can also join a variety of organizations on campus that match their personal interests, such as honor societies, Sociology Club, Math Club, McMurry Bass Club, McMurry Hispanic Society and Armed Forces Alliance.

Texas Wesleyan University

Texas Wesleyan University provides students with a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in fields like school counseling, nursing, computer information systems, athletic training, marketing, paralegal studies and psychology. Students on campus can deepen their faith through chapel services, interfaith meals (Common Meal), prayer and meditation events and FCA. Other student organizations and activities on campus include Greek life, Entrepreneurship Club, Black Student Association, honor societies, Golden Rams Tour Guides and Rams Rifle Team. According to the NCES, the university had a little more than 1,670 undergraduate students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 16 to 1 in 2017.
