Regulations for Online High Schools in Nebraska

Students who decide to attend an online high school in the state of Nebraska will want to make sure that they program they select is accredited. If the program they select is a public school, students who graduate from these programs will still need to meet the high school graduation requirements as set by the Nebraska education department. These standards require that students take 200 credits in order to graduate high school. Of these, 40 credits must be language arts, 30 credit hours must be mathematics, 30 credit hours must be science, and 30 credit hours must be social studies and history. The remaining credit hours can be fulfilled through elective credits.
