As a PPC consultant, your primary job duty will be to create and implement methods for advertising through social media platforms, search engines, or services like Google AdWords or Bing Ads. As such, you will draft content, source avenues for advertising, and ensure that ads are designed for maximum effect. Other job duties may include monitoring and compiling metrics on website performance, presenting management with regular progress updates, and utilizing A/B testing tools like Google's Drafts & Experiments to analyze keywords. You may also be responsible for overseeing keyword placement to ensure the company stays within budget. As a PPC consultant, you must be aware of any new online advertising trends in all areas, including social media platforms.
