King University

U.S. News and World Report has ranked King University amongst the Best Regional Universities in the South for almost 30 consecutive years. The school, which had a little over 2,300 undergraduate students enrolled in 2016, offers associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs, as well as post-master's certificates. Students may pursue study in areas like business administration, information technology, nursing, criminal justice, religious studies, social work, youth ministry, and drama. To meet the spiritual needs of students, the school has a chaplain on campus and places to learn about faith, like the Institute for Faith and Culture and the Peeke School of Christian Mission. The Student Life Activities Committee at King (SLACK) offers various campus events and programs to further develop students educationally, spiritually, and socially. SLACK also administers intramural sports events, like dodgeball, wiffleball, cornhole, poker, and more.

Maryville College

Maryville College is an undergraduate institution where students can pursue a bachelor's degree in a variety of areas, including biochemistry, accounting and finance, engineering, American Sign Language, math, environmental studies, history, religious studies, international relations and affairs, and the arts. The school had about 1,200 students enrolled in 2016, from all parts of the United States and 30 countries outside of the U.S. The Center for Campus Ministry at the school offers a chapel service every Tuesday, which is planned by a student worship committee and is held in the afternoon when no classes are scheduled. Students may also choose to participate in a variety of religious groups, such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), the Catholic Student Association, Voices of Praise, and Sisters in Solidarity. The school offers a range of special interest clubs and organizations as well, including the Mountain Challenge which allows students to experience the beautiful outdoors that surround the campus.

Rhodes College

Rhodes College had around 2,000 undergraduate students in 2016 and a student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1. About 75% of the student body participate in internship opportunities as they pursue their degree. Students can earn a master's degree in accounting or urban education, but the school mainly provides bachelor's degrees in areas like neuroscience, computer science, English, chemistry, religious studies, anthropology, economics, psychology, music, and more. The Princeton Review ranked the school #10 for Best Quality of Life and #1 for Most Beautiful Campus in 2017. Students can join a variety of activities and organizations, including athletics, student government, and the arts. For their spiritual lives, students may participate in inter-faith programs, religious student organizations, and/or service trips. The Bonner Center for Faith and Service offers a Rhodes summer service fellowship, as well as a Bonner scholarship.

Tusculum College

Tusculum College, established in 1794, had about 1,600 students enrolled in 2016 and was designated as a Military Friendly School for 2018. The school is also part of the Tennessee Transfer Pathway, making it easier for transfer students to transfer in credits and finish their degree. Tusculum also provides transfer students with an Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP). The school offers degrees at the associate's, bachelor's, and master's levels, as well as post-master's certificates. Students can pursue study in education, biology, business administration, nursing, athletic training, museology, kinesiology and exercise science, political science, psychology, and more. Students may participate in the Honors Program and/or utilize resources at the school's unique Center for Civic Advancement, Center for Global Studies, or Center for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship. Those interested in the Center for Civic Advancement will learn an awareness of self and others as they develop meaningful relationships in and with the communities at large.
