Students who want to attend a Christian school in Colorado have the opportunity to attend private, not-for-profit universities or colleges. These schools offer a wide array of degree programs as student options.

Colorado Christian University

Known as CCU, this school is part of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Students can choose from over 100 undergraduate majors, including business administration, ministry management, and teaching and learning. CCU also offers an Adult and Graduate Learning program that awards degrees from associate to master's level. In addition to a wide array of degrees, the university has a 16:1 student to faculty ratio, with an enrollment of 7,032 students in 2017, according to NCES. Almost 70 different religious denominations are represented in the student population.

Regis University

Regis University has four campuses and includes five colleges, including undergraduate liberal arts and health professions. The university has been designated in 2018 as a top Western University by U.S. News & World Report. Regis has an enrollment of 8,368 students, according to NCES in 2017, and offers sixty-nine student organizations. The university boasts 131 majors to choose from, as well as 78 online degree choices. At 97%, almost all incoming, full-time undergraduate students qualified for financial aid from the university in 2016-17, says NCES.

Nazarene Bible College

Nazarene Bible College was founded by the General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene. This private school offers associate's and bachelor's degrees, as well as a ministry prep program and a substitute teaching certificate. With a 6:1 student to faculty ratio, 100% of enrolled students received financial aid, according to NCES in 2016-17. The school is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association of Biblical Higher Education and the Higher Learning Commission.

Denver Seminary

Denver Seminary is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools. Students can pursue a master's degree in fields like counseling psychology, Christian studies, and youth ministry. Students can also pursue a doctoral degree. The seminary has an enrollment of about 900 students from more than 50 denominations, according to the school website in 2018.

Iliff School of Theology

Iliff School of Theology has an enrollment of 311 students, says NCES in 2017. Degree options include master's in divinity, pastoral and spiritual care, social justice and ethics, and theological studies. Students can also pursue a doctor of philosophy degree. Iliff is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools. The school offers traditional classroom learning, online learning, and a hybrid program called JOURNEY.
