Union University

Union University in Tennessee had about 2,180 undergraduate students in 2017, per the NCES. The school offers an undergraduate major in graphic design that gives students access to a state-of-the-art computer lab in the Art Department. The department encourages students to participate in art-related study abroad experiences, global internships and field trips. It also hosts various artists throughout the year who give special lectures or workshops. Students can invest in their spiritual lives through chapel services, Life Groups, Men's and Women's Cooperatives and a variety of local and global outreach opportunities.

Lipscomb University

Lipscomb University is also located in Tennessee and offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design. The program requires a capstone course where students develop their professional portfolios and have the portfolios reviewed. The program also has an art history minor built in and offers opportunities to study abroad in New York, Chicago and Berlin, among other locations. Spiritual life on campus includes a unique spiritual mentoring program, called the Joshua Project, as well as chapel services, prayer sessions and small groups. In 2017, the university had close to 2,990 undergraduate students, according to the NCES.

Mississippi College

Students at Mississippi College can further develop their spiritual lives by attending chapel services on campus and participating in different campus ministries, such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Chi Alpha (worship and Bible study). According to the NCES, the college had around 3,240 undergraduate students in 2017. The college offers a Bachelor of Art (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Graphic Design, as well as a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Graphic Design. Students in these programs participate in hands-on courses with training in the latest design software, while developing their portfolio throughout the program. Art facilities include two Mac labs and the Gore Art Gallery, and students can participate in the college's chapter of the honorary art fraternity, Kappa Pi.

Azusa Pacific University

California's Azusa Pacific University had about 5,670 undergraduate students in 2017, per the NCES. The university offers a unique BA in Design Studies that gives students an even broader education in design and explores the main concepts of graphic design, motion graphics, print media and Web design. A minor specifically in graphic design is also available. Students in these programs complete various projects in different media, have access to the latest software programs and are also eligible to compete for the school's talent-based Design Scholarship. Spiritual life on campus consists of chapel services, D-Groups (discipleship groups), mentoring programs and leadership opportunities, like Service and Leadership Team (SALT).

Calvin College

Calvin College in Michigan offers a BFA in Graphic Design that focuses on giving students the necessary design and marketing skills needed in the field. Students in the program are encouraged to participate in internships and must take a senior seminar course in studio art. Opportunities to contribute to the college's student newspaper and arts magazine are also available. Students can even join a Visual Arts Guild or pursue a 2-year artists collaborative program that includes study abroad opportunities. The college encourages spiritual growth in its students through Bible studies, chapel services, worship services, service learning opportunities and the Barnabas Project (spiritual encouragement in the residence halls). In 2017, the NCES reported the college had close to 3,750 undergraduate students.
