Cuyamaca College

Cuyamaca College can prepare students for entry-level work as accounting or tax technicians through its associate's degree program in accounting.

Associate in Science in Accounting

This program is designed to provide students with information technology skills and the ability to interpret accounting information. Students are required to complete 33 credit hours of accounting coursework in addition to general education requirements. Required courses include financial and managerial accounting, business law, financial statement analysis and computerized accounting applications. The accounting certificate program includes the same courses as the associate's program, so students who've already obtained the certificate can complete the general education course requirements to earn the degree.

San Diego Mesa College offers an associate's degree in accounting in addition to an accounting certificate program.

Associate in Science in Accounting

San Diego Mesa College features an associate's degree program in accounting that gives students a broad education in accounting and business principles.
