Part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, Baruch College is located in the Flatiron/Gramercy Park area of Manhattan. New York University's Continuing Education Programs
NYU offers a plentiful amount of continuing education classes in flexible formats. In addition to taking individual continuing education classes, adult students can earn diplomas, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, graduate certificates and master's degrees. Classes within the following departments may be applied toward program completion or taken individually.

In New York, the GED has been replaced with the Task Assessing Secondary Completion. Preparation courses are offered throughout the city in regular classroom settings or at computer assisted labs at all the adult centers. Electrical Installation Solar
This program helps students get ready for a one year study of electrical installation that can lead to programs for certification as a Solar PV Installer and receipt of a Certificate of Completion for 'Solar Electric.'
Culinary Arts/Food Preparation
The Culinary Arts/Food Preparation program takes students from the basics of baking and kitchen management into advanced training in knife work, butchering and sea food prep. In this 10-month program, students will learn the nuances of recipe development, teamwork and equipment operation. There is a certificate of completion upon testing as a New York City Food Handler.
