Essential Information

Online classes are offered by some schools, depending on the program and students' qualifications. Completion of a thesis or senior project may be required by baccalaureate programs in the field.

Although there are six ADA-accredited schools in the state, only four of them are public or private not-for-profit colleges. These four schools are discussed below, along with program and tuition information for each school.

The dental hygiene curriculum consists of traditional classroom lectures, hands-on labs and clinical rotations. Students learn about research methodology, health administration and public health. A senior project is required.
