Teaching, Waldorf and Steiner Education

The Waldorf and Steiner format educates K-12 students by fostering the unique creativity and learning styles of each student. A Waldorf and Steiner teaching education can enable graduates to become teachers at Waldorf and Steiner schools.

Inside Teaching, Waldorf and Steiner Education

The Waldorf teaching method is an educational model that encourages imagination and creative, individual learning styles. Waldorf education is based on Rudolf Steiner's principle of anthroposophy, which involves learning through both scientific and spiritual pursuits. It differs from traditional classroom pedagogy by explicitly focusing on social and ethical development, as well as enabling the natural talents of students to emerge creatively and intuitively. Waldorf teachers are trained to guide students throughout the major phases of development, from childhood on through adolescence, to help ensure that they realize their full potential.
