Dietitians and nutritionists also need a minimum of a bachelor's degree, though advanced degrees afford the best job opportunities. A master's degree also helps increase occupational advancement for health educators, though a bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement. A majority of states have licensure, certification and registration requirements for wellness studies occupations (www.bls.gov).
