About Altierus Career College
Altierus Career College is an accredited, non-profit group of schools that offers a variety of focused programs designed to help students begin a path to a new career. Altierus has three campuses (in Florida, Georgia, and Texas) that offer programs that prepare students for in-demand careers. These career-focused programs were designed to meet the standards of their respective national professional associations and include hands-on training in simulated work environments that allow students to practice their skills before entering the workforce. Altierus Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
Altierus students can choose from a variety of programs in the healthcare, trades, and technology fields. Programs start every five weeks, and some of them can be completed in just eight months. Options include diploma programs in computer information technology, dental assisting, massage therapy, and electrical construction technician. Associate's degrees in nursing and surgical technology are also available. The courses are taught by industry professionals who have experience in the field they teach - and can share real world knowledge, techniques, and practices. Some of the programs include online courses, which allows students to complete some coursework at home while still coming to campus for labs and hands-on training.
Financial aid, such as federal grants and scholarships, are available to students who qualify. In addition, students can apply for the Zenith Student Grant, which is a multimillion-dollar institutional grant program for Altierus students who demonstrate financial need, or the American Dream Scholarship, which is offered at every school.
'At Altierus, I learned how to work with patients and how to do specific procedures. Every module and class had a purpose. Each of them prepared me for things I encounter daily. I love what I do and Altierus made it possible for me.'
