About Baylor University

Chartered in 1845, Baylor University is the oldest operating university in Texas. Baylor currently offers online master's and doctoral degree programs, including a Master of Public Health (MPH). Upholding Baylor's faith-based mission, the MPH@Baylor program prepares aspiring public health advocates to help communities thrive -- in Texas and worldwide -- by improving quality of life through the lens of faith and public health service. The program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

Studies in the online MPH program provide a focus on both global and community health issues and topics, and students can choose to specialize in the area of community health. The program is offered through the university's Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, which was established in 2014, and offers programs designed to uphold Baylor's tradition of excellence in educating public health professionals who are both passionate and capable. Graduates could be poised to improve communities within Baylor's home state of Texas as well as communities in other parts of the United States and around the world.

This MPH can be earned in as little as 18 months in a full-time, accelerated format, or in 24 months when taken part time. With no GRE scores required and applications currently being accepted for the online program, now is the perfect time to take their first step toward a meaningful career in the public health field.

'The Community Health program (now the Public Health Program) at Baylor has provided me with an outstanding hands-on education that equipped me to earn my CHES certification before graduation and helped me succeed in the Public Health field.'

- Amanda Graves, Baylor University Graduate
