About Carrington College
Carrington College is based in Sacramento, California, and offers a variety of programs for students interested in preparing for health care careers. Carrington students are taught by experienced instructors who have practical working experience in the field that they teach, and the small class sizes allow the instructors to get to know their students and provide individualized attention to each one.
Carrington offers medical, dental, administrative, and veterinary programs that result in a certificate or an associate degree. Students can select from options in dental assisting, veterinary technology, medical billing and coding, massage therapy, surgical technology, nursing, and more. The on-campus programs include hands-on learning experiences and/or clinical rotations to help students gain practical skills before they enter the workforce. Students seeking a flexible online learning program have fields to choose from including: criminal justice, medical administrative assistant, and medical billing and coding. These programs allow students to view lectures, participate in hands-on activities, and complete their coursework online, however, a capstone project or externship may be required as well.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to Carrington College must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some programs have additional requirements/restrictions, including the Wonderlic SLE admissions test, age restrictions, written statement, background check, interview process, and/or drug screening.
