About Golden Gate University

Golden Gate University is a private, non-profit university that was founded in 1901. The school offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs designed for busy adult learners who need to balance work and life commitments with their education. GGU's programs offer flexible scheduling options and are available online as well as at campuses in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Seattle.

Students can choose from programs in areas of business, management, law, taxation, and accounting. Some of the undergraduate program options include certificates in international business or finance, Associate of Arts in General Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Management (with five concentration options), and Bachelor of Science in Business (with 11 concentration options). Graduate program options include a Certificate in Conflict Resolution, Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Leadership, Juris Doctor, and Doctor of Business Administration. There is also an MBA program with 13 concentration options.

The online programs include the same content as the on-campus courses and are taught by experienced instructors who have real world experience in the area that they teach. Students have access to a variety of support services to help them succeed, including a dedicated student services advisor who guides them throughout their education program, academic tutors, and career services. Golden Gate University also accepts transfer credit from other colleges, as well as awards credit for military and professional training and examinations.
