About Hunter Business School
Hunter Business School is a private school with campuses in Medford and Levittown, New York. It was founded in 1972 with the purpose of offering professional career-training programs in the business fields, and they have since added some in-demand health care and technology programs as well. Hunter programs are designed to provide students with the training they need to begin or enhance their careers in the shortest time possible.
Hunter Business School offers eight vocational programs that result in a certificate or diploma. Students can choose from the following programs:
- Computer Network Technician Specialist
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Billing Specialist
- Medical Office Administration
- Practical Nursing
- Radiologic Technology
- Web Application Design & Development
These comprehensive programs include hands-on training and classroom learning in order to help students gain the technical skills and abilities they need to succeed in their career field. Hunter students can also take advantage of the small classes and personal attention from their instructors; the student-to-faculty ratio is 16:1. Students may also access the schools' career services department, which not only helps students search for jobs and prepare for interviews, but also offers lifetime career placement services for graduates.
Hunter Business School is accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS). Its Medical Assistant and Ultrasound programs have earned additionally program-specific accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP).
