About Northwest Mississippi Community College

Northwest Mississippi Community College, located in Senatobia, Mississippi, was founded in 1926. The campus sits on 247 acres, and there are also locations in Southaven, Olive Branch, and Oxford. The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits the institution.


Northwest Community College awards associate's degrees, less-than-one-year certificates, and one-but-less-than-two-years certificates. Students can choose from approximately 80 programs. Of these, roughly 40 are career and technical programs. Health, business, and liberal arts were the leading programs among associate's degree recipients in 2011.

Northwest Mississippi is an open admissions community college.
