About The University of Scranton
The University of Scranton is a private, not-for-profit university with a strong foundation based on the Catholic and Jesuit principles of intellectual growth and integrity. The school has been ranked among the top 10 master's universities in the North by U.S. News & World Report. This selective university also offers some of its high-quality master's degree and graduate certificate programs online.
The online programs are taught by accomplished faculty, most of whom hold terminal degrees in their field, who hold their online students to the same academic standards as their online students. Online program offerings include options in business, finance, accounting, health administration, health informatics, human resources, supply chain management, and enterprise resource planning. These flexible programs allow students to complete their coursework online and at their own pace while earning the same diploma as traditional on-campus students. Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 20 students, which allows online students to still network and connect with their peers.
The University of Scranton uses the Angel Learning Management System to provide its online education programs. Students can access their course materials at any time and are able to interact with classmates and professors by e-mail, instant messaging, online forums, and virtual chat sessions.
