About The University of Saint Mary

The University of Saint Mary (USM) is a private, regionally accredited institution that was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1923. The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs at two campuses in Kansas, as well as online, with the purpose of developing graduates with the ability to lead and contribute to society.

USM offers four online programs. At the bachelor's level, online students can enroll in a CCNE-accredited RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). USM's online Master of Science in Nursing program is also accredited by the CCNE and has two concentration options: Nurse Administrator and Nurse Educator. Online Master of Business Administration students can choose between six concentration options: Leadership and Organizational Health, Finance, General Management, Health Care Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing/Advertising Management. This program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).

These programs can be completed entirely online and allow students to complete their coursework whenever its most convenient for them. Online courses are taught by the same faculty who teach on campus and include the same challenging curriculum. Technical support is available through a Personal Support Center, and online students are also assigned a dedicated student services coordinator who provides support and guidance.
