Pennsylvania State University

Pennsylvania State University's University Park campus tied for 59th place among national universities by U.S. News & World Report in 2019. In addition to a broad range of undergraduate programs, Penn State, as this school is commonly known, offers a variety of doctoral degrees in the arts, sciences, business, and education. Programs are offered at multiple resident campuses and online.

Temple University

Based in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Temple University offers associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral courses and programs. In addition to on-campus opportunities, Temple prides itself on a strong study abroad program, which has programs in Japan, Rome, Spain and more. Temple University offers the full spectrum of health sciences education, from pharmacy and medicine to dentistry. The school also maintains campuses in the nearby Pennsylvania cities of Fort Washington and Center City.

University of Pittsburgh

With centers located throughout the city, including the Duratz Athletic Complex on the city's south side and the Allegheny Observatory on the north, the University of Pittsburgh boasts a close relationship with the city. The main campus is in the city's Oakland neighborhood. Doctoral courses of study are offered in fields ranging from art to computational biology. The University of Pittsburgh's reach is extended throughout the state of Pennsylvania, with campuses in Greensburg, Johnstown, Bradford and Titusville.
