This course examines the major roles of a school supervisor, which can include principals, superintendents, curriculum directors and human resource directors. Lectures cover leadership styles, principles of supervision, and school policies. Students also learn the typical duties of educational supervisors.
Accounting and Finance for Educators
In this course, students gain insight concerning the cost of operations for K-12 schools. Instructors will review laws and regulations that oversee financial reporting at the local, state, and federal levels. Students will also examine fundamental information about accounting principles, resource allocations, fiscal responsibilities, daily operations costs, administrative processes, and administrative theories.
School Personnel Administration
This course focuses on human resources. Instructors lecture on the fundamentals of recruiting and hiring employees as well as attracting quality staff.
