San Jose City College
San Jose City College (SJCC) offers an associate degree in cosmetology and an esthetician certificate through its business and technology division. Students who want to enroll in cosmetology programs at SJCC must be 18 years old and must apply directly to the program. Students must purchase their own kits and supplies.
Esthetician Certificate of Achievement
Students interested in working as makeup artists, estheticians or make-up salespersons may want to complete this 2-semester certificate program. This program consists of two, 11-unit courses, which are generally held on Saturdays and evenings.
