Certificate of Excellence in Holistic Nutrition

SWIHA's certificate program prepares students to provide instruction in healthy eating habits for the purposes of weight management and preventative health practices. Students learn how food choices affect an individual's energy levels, clarity, mood, susceptibility to illness and overall well-being. This 200-hour certificate program includes courses in holistic nutrition foundations, weight management strategies, disease prevention and nutritional supplements. Participants can also take cooking classes that emphasize shopping habits and techniques for preparing whole and raw foods. The program is also offered in an online format.

Associate of Occupational Studies in Holistic Healthcare

This 2-year, 60-credit hour program's mind-body transformational psychology concentration emphasizes the balance between the mind, body and spirit. It incorporates coursework in nutrition, applied entrepreneurship, hypnotherapy, aromatherapy, yoga teacher training, spirit releasement and crystal healing. Once completed, students will have finished 1,052 - 1,082 classroom hours of courses.
