Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
In the CNA training program, students learn skills that they can use to work in, among other facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and home health agencies. The 130-hour course includes a 30-hour nursing home clinical rotation. In order to enroll in the class, students need to complete CPR training for health care providers or be certified by the American Heart Association. Students also may need to pass a reading test. In addition, students must bring physical exam documents to the first session. Those who complete this program can sit for New York State credentialing exams.
