Indiana State University (ISU) offers online programs that can lead to a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Arts or a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Each of these programs can be taken 100% online.

Bachelor's Degree Option

ISU offers a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice degree program online. This 121-semester hour program prepares students for law school or for careers in juvenile justice, corrections, private security and law enforcement. The degree program includes 42 credit hours in criminology or criminal justice, of which 21 can be transferred from another college. Some course topics for the program include:

Indiana State University offers two master's degree programs in criminology and criminal justice. Although all courses for both programs are delivered online, students need to meet prerequisite undergraduate course requirements in the field of criminology before they can enroll. Master of Science

The Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice is a 36-credit-hour program. Courses are geared toward students bound for law school or careers in adult and juvenile parole, probation, corrections or crime prevention. Students can also choose a concentration in law enforcement or corrections.

Master of Arts

The 33-credit-hour Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice program is suited for students planning to continue on to doctoral degree programs. Those who wish to pursue careers in research or academia should also choose this option.
