Salaries for drafters vary according to field and specialization. In 2015, the BLS reported that the median annual income for drafters in civil engineering or architecture was $50,710. Electrical and electronics drafters earned $59,520, and the median income for mechanical drafters was $53,520.
Continuing Education Information
