Legal Technician Certificate

In this 2-semester, 18-credit program, students will learn the fundamentals of legal research. They will take introductory courses in legal writing and the law as well as business organization and computers and the law. One must possess an associate's degree in order to enter this program.

Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal/Legal Assistant

The associate degree program includes many of the same required courses and electives found in the related certificate program, with the addition of general education and technology requirements. Students will also take courses in civil litigation, contracts, criminal law and property law. This program requires students to earn 64 credit hours prior to graduation.
