Clark College

Clark College's associate's degree program in paralegal studies requires the completion of 94-98 credit hours of study. Students in these programs can complete internships, typically during the final semester of study.

Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies

This program introduces students to the common tasks performed by paralegals and the various environments in which they can work. Available classes include legal writing, business law, legal theory and ethics, interviewing, evidence, legal research and writing, criminal law and procedure, probate law, property law and law office procedures. General education classes such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting may also be useful for prospective legal assistants.

Portland Community College
