NCES calculated these numbers by taking the total cost for undergraduate students in 2014-2015 and subtracting the average financial aid received. The five schools offering master's degrees and have the lowest net prices in New Jersey are as follows. Excluding Saint Peter's University, all of them are public institutions.

Schools with Highest Graduation Rates

More than 10 schools in New Jersey have graduation rates exceeding 65%. NCES calculated these percentages by looking at full-time undergraduates who completed their programs in 150% of the normal amount of time. According to 2014 statistics, the following five schools have high graduation rates and offer advanced programs at not only the master's level but also the graduate certificate and/or doctoral levels.

  • Princeton University (97% graduation rate)
  • The College of New Jersey (85% graduation rate)
  • Stevens Institute of Technology (82% graduation rate)
  • Rutgers University - New Brunswick (80% graduation rate)
  • Ramapo College of New Jersey (74% graduation rate)
