Nassau Community College

Nassau Community College is part of the State University of New York system and offers more than 70 programs of study. The medical laboratory technology program is administered by the school's Department of Allied Health Sciences. Associate in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology

Instruction focuses on procedures and methods used to extract patient samples, sample quality management and error detection in gathering and interpreting samples. Courses include clinical pathology, clinical immunology and medical microbiology.
