CUNY Queensborough Community College
CUNY Queensborough Community College offers certificate and associate's degree programs for students who are interested in careers in accounting, medical and health care office administration, nursing and management, among other areas.
Medical Office Assistant Certificate
The medical office assistant certificate program requires 30 credits to complete and helps students acquire medical secretary and clinical procedural skills. Once enrolled, students learn about clinical testing, public health, medical office procedures and typing. The program also provides students with opportunities for field training.
Health Care Office Administration: Managing, Coding and Billing Certificate
Students in this 30-credit program receive instruction in general and medical office skills. They also learn about medical coding and billing, office procedures and computer systems. The Metropolitan Learning Institute has two campuses in New York and New Jersey.
