Bemidji State University

The mass communication minor program at this Bemidji university requires 21 credit hours of courses like media writing, media ethics and communication law. Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communication students may study video production, reporting/writing, multimedia production, professional writing and photojournalism. A senior thesis or project is required. A BS in Marketing Communication program is available and offers courses in advertising, consumer behavior, public relations and multimedia production.

Metropolitan State University

Minnesota State University - Mankato

Rochester Community and Technical College

Saint Cloud State University

Minor programs in communication studies and intercultural communication are offered at Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud. The BA in Communication Studies program has emphases in leadership and organizational communication, relational communication, rhetoric and performance studies, comprehensive communication studies and intercultural communication. Students can choose another major to qualify for the supplementary BA in Communication Studies program. University of Minnesota - Duluth

Located in Duluth, this university has a minor program in communication that requires 27 credit hours of courses, such as human communication theory. BA students can participate in an honors program, and they'll need to write an additional paper. University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

University of St. Thomas
