In addition, some programs integrate an internship, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in the field. Bergen Community College

The management information systems program at Bergen Community College takes place at the school's main campus in Paramus. Bergen's MIS curriculum requires coursework in marketing, business, and accounting, in addition to areas such as programming, systems analysis, networking, and database applications. Students also fulfill general education requirements in English, social sciences, and math. Bergen's Transfer and Career Center offers career counseling and job fairs, and the Small Business Development Center provides support for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses.

Rowan College at Burlington County

Rowan College at Burlington County's campus in Mount Laurel hosts the institution's computer management information systems program. Culminating in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, this program encapsulates classes in networking, systems design, and different types of programming. In addition, students undertake courses in areas like financial accounting and global business functions, as well as general education classes in science, math, and humanities. Career centers offering help with job searches, cover letters, and resumes are available at both the Mount Laurel campus and the school's main campus in Pemberton.

Camden County College

Students can earn an Associate in Science (AS) in Management of Information Systems at Camden County College's (CCC) main campus in Blackwood. In this degree program, students undergo study in general education areas like history and English, as well as business disciplines including economics and accounting. Courses in programming, algorithm analysis, and object-oriented data structures are also part of the curriculum. The program is arranged to facilitate transfer to a 4-year institution.

County College of Morris

Located in Randolph, the County College of Morris (CCM) awards an AAS degree in computer information systems with a concentration in MIS. The program encompasses coursework in statistics, economics, and accounting, with the MIS track providing instruction in systems analysis, electronic spreadsheets, operating systems, and programming languages, among other subjects. CCM students in a computer information systems program may also undertake an internship for academic credit.

Fairleigh Dickinson University

Fairleigh Dickinson University's (FDU) Metropolitan Campus is based in Teaneck and hosts both a business administration bachelor's degree program with an information systems track and a master's degree program in MIS. In the bachelor's degree program, students partake in MIS courses on topics like business spreadsheet applications, systems implementation, data networks, and business database applications. FDU undergraduate students may also earn program credit by completing an internship or study internationally at locations in Vancouver, England, or Costa Rica. The MIS master's degree program comprises study in economics, project management, and financial accounting, along with courses in computer architecture, database systems, and data structures. Master's degree candidates also receive instruction in e-commerce and marketing management. Montclair State University

Montclair State University (MSU) offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in management information systems at its campus in Montclair. Students in the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration program with an emphasis in MIS take courses in business technology, operations management, programming, systems design, and databases. Electives are available on such topics as information systems continuity management, e-commerce, and web development, to name a few. The MIS concentration in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program incorporates instruction in database systems, information management, and emerging technologies, as well as elective options in subjects like sociopolitical business environments and forensic accounting. New Jersey Institute of Technology

Rowan University

At its campus in Glassboro, Rowan University houses a bachelor's degree program, a minor, and an MBA program in MIS. The Newark campus of Rutgers University hosts a BS program in management information systems.
