Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice
Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Degrees — Undergraduate Scholarship
"Hi, my name is Phillip Heintze and playing cops and robbers was a game I always enjoyed while growing up. I am sure, that as a
little boy, what first caught my attention were the flashing lights and sirens on the police cars. Looking up to a community
hero who had the ability to be in charge of a parade, drive fast and run red lights. A character that represents not just a
symbol of power but of peace. Growing up in a small rural community the police had a way of keeping us all calm under extreme
situations and keeping a safe environment for everyone, which is why I have decided to go into the field of Criminal Justice.
To have a career that I can take pride in and to become a better citizen by protecting others like I protect those I care
about; to make an impact on life.
I know that I would not be able to achieve my goal without the confidence of others. I would like to thank you for your
financial assistance and support. It is greatly appreciated and I assure you I will succeed because I firmly believe that a
person, who goes to college and completes his or her education, emerges a better person. "
