In Arizona, paralegal training is offered through 2-year associate degree programs and undergraduate certificate programs. In addition to core paralegal training, associate degree programs integrate general education and elective courses. Certificate programs focus strictly on career training and are often designed for students who already possess an associate or a bachelor's degree. In many cases, students are able to gain practical experience by completing an internship.
