AIU Online's Master of Education in Instructional Design program has a part-time and full-time option. Students enrolled in either option have the opportunity to learn about instructional technology, including productivity software, the definitions and components of design and development, and using technology in the classroom. Other specialization courses give students the chance to learn computer-mediated learning environments, creating computer-based instructional materials, copyrighted materials, and online learning. This program is also designed to teach students about using technology to assess practices, educational research methods, strategies for developing objectives, learning theories, and curriculum design.
