Program Description:

Enrollment in the Master of Science in Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Law Enforcement program at Grand Canyon University affords students the opportunity to study law enforcement management and leadership in criminal justice, restorative justice, criminal investigative procedures, and psychology and the legal system, including the roles of expert witnesses, criminal profilers, custody trials, and jury selection consultants. Law enforcement coursework examines terrorism and counterterrorism planning, homeland security, law enforcement and corrections subcultures, and the dilemmas of being placed in corrupt departments. The program also includes a capstone project and final written proposal requirement that addresses how to improve the criminal justice system at the federal, state, and local levels.
