Program Description:

Penn Foster Career School's Landscaping Technology Career Diploma Program gives enrolled students the opportunity to learn skills connected to the landscaping industry. Students must complete eight instruction sets and five graded projects to earn a diploma. Instruction sets cover a wide range of topics, including plants, soils, fertilizers, landscaping tools, tree and shrub identification, lawn maintenance, specialty landscapes, and the landscape business.

Program Materials Supplied by Penn Foster Career School

Penn Foster supplies all of the materials students need, including books, lessons, and learning aids. Students do not need to use the supplied Landscape Design software to complete their studies, however, if they choose to use it, access to a Windows(R)-based PC (Pentium(R) III or higher; Windows(R) 98 or higher) and a scanner is required.
