The Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing to Master of Science Nursing degree program requires students to have a license to practice as a registered nurse. Students must also possess either an associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in nursing with a minimum of 50 quarter credit hours of eligible credit with a focus in nursing.

Program Description:

The Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing to Master of Science Nursing allows students to get a jump start on their Master's degree while completing their Bachelor's. Students of the accelerated program can take up to three graduate courses in place of open electives. The Bachelor's program generally focuses on preparing registered nurses to provide care to all types of populations: individuals, families, communities, etc. As part of the program students are afforded the opportunity to create a portfolio to display their coursework, which can be shared with future potential employers. This program lays the groundwork for student's to purse graduate nursing studies as well.
