Program Description:

In this Master of Science in Education program, teachers must be actively instructing a group of learners while in the program so that teachers can put theory to practice in their classrooms. Coursework focuses on designing curriculum aligned with national standards, reflecting and iterating on effective teaching and classroom management, and using assessments to inform teaching and drive better student performance in the classroom. The program's four knowledge goals are: diverse learners, academic content and pedagogy, assessment, and professional responsibilities and relationships.
