Purdue University Global's MS in Health Education is designed to prepare students for careers within the fields of health education and promotion. Students applying to this program should have an interest in health services and learning how to develop, implement, and evaluate health programs.
Applicants who wish to complete a master's degree program with Purdue University Global must provide an unofficial transcript which shows completion of a bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution.
The MS in Health Education at Purdue University Global trains future health education specialists in seven areas of responsibility. Students will also study fundamental knowledge areas in public health, including data analysis, epidemiology, community health factors, and community behaviors in public health. The curriculum is designed to create future leaders within health organizations or the health industry. As such, in addition to pedagogical lessons, students can choose to include a practical, fieldwork experience opportunity into their study.
