Applicants from a variety of undergraduate educational backgrounds are welcome to apply to Southern New Hampshire University's International Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Informatics program. However, those who do not have a business background may be required to take business foundation courses in addition to the required program coursework. This program is designed to focus on international business issues in addition to healthcare informatics, so applicants should ideally have an interest in both areas. Applicants to Southern New Hampshire University programs must have earned a bachelor's degree to seek admission into this master's program.
Southern New Hampshire University's International Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Informatics program consists of ten core international business courses, and three additional healthcare informatics courses. The curriculum is designed to impart an in-depth understanding of international business issues like international finance, developing relationships in foreign markets, international trade, and intercultural negotiation strategies. Additionally, the healthcare informatics concentration courses are intended to introduce financial, administrative, and clinical aspects of the health information management field. Students in this program have the option to participate in a two-week summer overseas study program.
