Program Description:

The Master of Arts in History program at Southern New Hampshire University is meant to look at how events in the past can be relevant, useful, and valuable to us today. Coursework in this online program is designed to examine research methods and sources so that students can get an idea of how careful analysis of records can reveal important information about the past. Students may also have the chance to choose from three concentrations in American, military, or public history, or they may simply select a number of electives to customize their learning program. This program culminates in a capstone project, which is meant to demonstrate what a student has learned.
