Program Description:

Once enrolled in Ashford University's Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program, students could take courses focusing on networking, programming, operating systems, databases, software, and mobile applications. Coursework could provide information about the design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting for these computer components. Students have the opportunity to learn about the Python and C++ programming languages as well as interface design, local and wide area networks, data handling, database modeling, and architecture concepts. In the culminating capstone course, students work in teams to create an extensive project that covers areas of system development, modeling, planning, and testing.
