Program Prerequisites:

To enroll in Colorado State University Global's Master of Science in Data Analytics program, students will need an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: information technology, management information systems, computer science, or database management. Additionally, students should have taken introductory (at a minimum) classes in database management, computer programming, and statistics within the last five years. Program Description:

Colorado State University Global's Master of Science in Data Analytics program is designed to prepare students to lead organizations as data architects, data scientists, or analysts and developers of business intelligence systems. Students are provided with the opportunity to learn about ethics in business analytics, methods to secure data, and how to work effectively with data sets. They can also learn how to use various kinds of analytics to deal with business challenges, make forecasts, and convey recommendations for an organization's finance, management, and logistics functions. Additionally, the curriculum offers students the chance to specialize in an area of interest, such as cybersecurity, fraud management, information technology, organizational learning and performance, population health, human resource performance, and accounting.
